Right its becoming a bit of a problem, i am obsessed with them. It is a good job they are such stupid money or i would have bought one by now.

It is funny how people react differently to them, moaning of engines bla bla

But i look at them now and think how they have aged so well, ironic with the bttf links too

I just find myself looking and searching all the time, i really want to find one a bit hanging and stick a decent engine in the back, what engine choices would be good do you reckon?

Im thinking hypothetically really...

i just love the rear end of them!

how complicated is it to fit a front mounted engine to the rear of a car?

im guessing finding a rear mounted engine will save alot of messing about, im thinking some kind of porsche engine maybe

this sounds like the worst idea ever!  Especially given your track record with doing cars up Cheesy

If you're having to fabricate engine mounts then I cant see it making too much difference using an engine from a front engined car.  Just need to chose the right gearbox.

or find an Esprit turbo engine and put that in, might even bolt right in given they are essentially the same chassis as I understand it.

dunno but there are enough people with high powered esprits arent there?  They must have done something, I'm sure there are other gearboxes to use.

Although really, a big, american V8 is what is required!

yes I have always love the look of them, but would only ever thinking about owning one to look at and admire.

there not made for driving reliability at all.

go with something german. at least have some reliability then
