Take.... on.... me....

« on: June 03, 2011, 09:03:37 am »

Hi there all,

Its getting towards the summer again so that means the time of the G40 rally is nearing. Now in its fourth year, if you’ve not been before this event involves a nice drive through some scenic routes through the peaks and stopping off at some rather nice pubs for  a shandy and a bite to eat. We then camp at a pub somewhere (venue tbc) and then on to the Tatton Park show in the morning where we have a stand at the show.

Tatton park is on the 7th of August this year so the Rally would take place on the 6th starting at around midday. Details to follow nearer the time. If you are interested in coming along please register your interest in this thread. It doesn’t matter what state your car is in (it couldn’t be any worse than mine) everyone is free to join in.

Cheers

Sam

Could camp with the G40 Rally boys afterwards though?

In all fairness if the Club Polo track day ends up at Blyton I might be interested in doing that myself. I know this thread hasnt been up long but its not flooded with interest. Can spectators attend at Blyton? Could combine the two events with some camping afterwards?

So, how about CP trackday on the Sat, drive to a campsite somewhere in the peaks for Sat night, then on to Tatton on the Sunday?
