Good little guide there! Only thing I'd add is maybe something about what you place the board on when removed to avoid further ESD. We use rubber matts with ESD bands running to earth points. But I'm sure you could make something up at home, or just be careful where it's placed, lol.

Yeah I wrote it last night.

Didn't think about anti-stat mats. The board should be varnished so maybe not high risk? What do others think? I'm happy to update the guide with anythng people feel are important.

For example somebody on club polo mentioned ECU's without chipholders (soldered chips), i've never hered of these in a digifant?

Also which engibe codes is this suitable for? I've just re-read the guide and noticed the sub heading needs completing!

Some late model GT's had soldered in chips.

Part number on these ECU's ends with 022N as I recall.

As for engine codes, NZ you already list for CL models, 3F for GT's and PY for G40's.
