Welcome. Very impressive car you have.

The wishbones that you made are interesting too. I wonder if it would be better than a subframe?

Some good power your putting out on the 16v, what was the engine from?

Hi Jezza,

there`s a subframe too. So the front and rear fix point is matched by a subframe (Unterfahrschutz). Without subframe the system would be much to weak.

WOW!  Shocked

Welcome to the forum, some serious kit going on there!

Are they both still 1272cc or have you increased the bore and/or stroke?

The 8V is 1380ccm and the 16V is 1421ccm

Wolfgang Zwießler sponsored me when I did
hillclimb racing in Gruppe H from 1995 to 2003. He doesn`t live in Germany since a couple of years. The sticker on the wing and the wing is from the 16V. So the telephone number doesn`t exist any longer - but it remembers me at the old days....

Very nice work Chris.
A man who`s already got my heart.
Those wishbones and subframe setup are along the lines of what i
had in mind for mine.
I have simular drawings.
Is that a Alternator belt used to hang the Exhaust back box.

So glad you posted all this here as it`s inspiration to us all.

Many Thanks!

Regards, Fred.

Thank`s a lot Fred,

yes thats an alternator belt under the exhaust. Many years ago one of the suspension rubbers broke and I had to stop race. With that belt I`m always at the shure side
