Hi all.
Picked my self up a gt thats been g40'd last night so iv joined the club. She runs very well but needs an interior and 3 tiny bits of surface rust sorting, oh and matching wing mirrors??!! I plan to have her mint with in a month.

She is the one from southampton, the bloke was a cow boy but the car has turned out to be a little jem, rock solid with a very healthy G40 lump, i sold the buckets it came with for enough to hopefully get a good interior and some matching wing mirrors, i'll have her mint with in the month.

Looks quite tidy, and quite a good colour.
Have you got an interior lined up? I might be able to lay my hands on one, the chap I sold mine to about 8 years ago still has it in his garage! As far as I remember the front seats and door cards were in decent nick, but there is no rear foam, only the fabric which was a little faded. I could find out if you're interested?
And I think Jezza-7 would be very interested in the steel wheels should you want to part with them

I just need front and rear seats plus matching wing mirrors, im getting the stone chips and tiny bit of suface rust fixed at a local car medic (like chips away). Just cant find seats near enough to Bedfordshire for me to pick them up!

Thats ok mate im now picking up a full set up in unmarked condition for £45 tomoro. I kind of need the wheels till i find a nice wide set, the tyres on mine are brand new but they just dont grip enough at the front, on damp roads she spins in 1st 2nd and 3rd befor i reach full gas, i cant drive round every where with a spare change of pants in the boot.

That set went for £160, so no. But last week i got a mint g40 interior for £110 which has gone in a treat. Also got some more steels so gona sell the ones in the photos. Still havnt sort the dam mirrors.
