Driver ability > power and chassis I reckon.

Sorry to thread hijack, but this is a stripped Mk2 with a GT engine chasing an M3 around the Ring, in the wet. The M3 was trying to get away too.

Yeah, it's the weekend I was out there too. The Ring in that weather in my G40 with an open diff - not a great idea. I was crawling around. I'm not half as good at driving as the guy in the Polo.
