Easy now.
As per last year - who fancies a club g40 rr day. Similar premise to the rally but instead of it being one car after another round the peaks then a meal it is following one car after one another on the rolling road and then having a few beers in the evening.
To make it viable we need 15-20 definates. If non-g40s want to run, thats fine as up to 30 can usually run on the day. If we only get 10, then club g40 gets stung like a good-un and we lose our hard earned £50 deposit, so please only put down if you are definately interested (date dependant of course).
As per usual this will be at aldon automotive, as we and club polo have used this loads and its accurate - my total stock g40 made 115bhp 2bhp up on factory.... so it shows how accurate they are. Add yr name if interested.

Never been to one in this G40. Dependant on when and where then I am a 'most probably'. Also that assumes I've run my G back in. It takes me months to do 500 miles!!

3. Rae - G40, bhp depends on how much brass has been spent by the time the RR is. probably get 80bhp by then. lol

I'm interested, but I think this will be a social jaunt for me as the Polo is going into the bodyshop in October. Not much point running a standard, low mileage Pissrat on the rollers. But, having missed the rally it'd be good to catch up with everyone.

the best bit around standard cars is they can still tell you if things are setrup and working correctly.
when I first run my standard one, the bhp was way down, even after checking a few things, was not until went into have work done, a charger service and chip and pulley that we noticed a hole in the intercooler.

if my car is ready ill come, big 'if' though, just had to cut my inlet up as it was fouling on the car.
also looks like ill be running 8 injectors!
