Looks properly done- very nice indeed.

Just prepping mine for a cage, not sure I want to go through the the struts on the Mk3 though... Have you had a chance to fit the dash etc yet?

A worthwhile additional bar (which I'm not sure if you have) is between the rear turret and the door bars, lots of the berg boys add this in  Smiley

yeah i have looked over differing designs and talked it through with andy and he wasn't convinced that i would need anymore than the design you see here due to the fact the car will weigh nothing, althoughi i might reconsider as its going to go back up to his unit once i have the alloy fuel tank, pump and filter so he can plumb the fuel lines through the car and swage the fittings. I havent fitted the dash in yet but im pretty sure that it will have to be completey hacked at to get it in and due to the cage dash bar running above the steering wheel bracing im not sure that i will get the clocks back in anyway which is a bit of a pain so may have to go dashless/digital clocks for my sins.

Should be able to mate, so long as they're reasonably secure the speedo cable will work fine, the rest are just wires so can be extended to suit- digital dash would be nice, but it's £££

This is the bar I mean:

I know what you mean about adding extra bars- you can easily get carried away, you got any pictures of the front etc?

Ah that's superb work being done there Jez. Cool
The Andy Robinson cage looks a work of art. 'Tis gonna be a challenge getting in and out with those gussetted double door bars!  Wink
I spy the coilovers and subframe at the front - all good stuff. Cool Also see you have removed the bulkhead. Painting the inner wings body colour looks very tidy indeed - are you gonna continue this under the whole car?
Keep the pics coming Jez, this is looking the business.
Cheers,
Richard.

Its not to bad getting in and out believe it or not. The door X's are positioned so well, as is the whole of the cage. I'm not sure about the underside at the mo, so much to do - but i have a huge pile of bits so it should come together quicker than ever. Hopefully you will see it in its finished or there-abouts state in the new year! Cheers
