A G40 first timer (poor guy)

Thought I would share something what I thought was hilarious with you lot.

Had my box rebuilt last month and it has been a little sloppy so the Gear box man (AKA John) took it out for a drive to see what was up. He is an old boy and does not really do fast cars.

When he came back he handed the keys to my mate and said ‘It will be the last time I drive one of those, I was on half throttle and it started hissing at me, then all hell broke loose and the bloody thing tried to kill me. I felt like throwing the steering wheel out of the window as it was just useless’

All of the guys at my mates garage were in fits of laughter, bless the poor guy I think it scared the hell out of him.

However he did manage to work out the problem, just in case you wondered.

To clear up the “hissing” I run the car without the Boost return for those of you who have not heard the noise on half throttle.

Just curious why does mine only hiss sometimes? I havn't done the BRV mod and sometimes when i put my foot down i get the hissing, then other times i dont?

Is this normal?

The noise is the supercharger, makes the "hissing/spinning" noise, however mine only makes it sometimes
