Housewives heart throb

« on: April 08, 2009, 09:52:28 am »

last year we did a nice jaunt in the peaks along windy roads, followed by camping and some good food/real ale.   We then went via the cat and fiddle to set up a club stand at tatton park - VW northwest.  http://www.vwnw.co.uk/  It made sense to combine some proper driving with some beers and a vw show.  I know I enjoyed it all!

We are thinking about doing another one this year, perhaps looking at different good driving routes - perhaps north wales?

Anyone interested?

Yep I'll be there no matter what.  Wouldn't mind the same route even really, any excuse for a go on the C&F.  Plus those pies at that pub were brilliant.

all the pies you can imagine and I think the pub was called the royal oak or something.  Can't be that far off you.  Has a campsite there too.  Decent ale as well.
