Might be interested in one of these. The base map on my current one for 300cc reds is very erratic at low throttle, once the micro switch is engaged for a short period.

Hi I have just rebuilt my 1341 with a
big valved head and newman cam
310cc red top injectors ( I still have the green top 250cc I think if that would suit your map better )
stg 4 Jabba charger with toothed belts
it still has the standerd exhaust manifold but with a custom downpipe and exhaust
GT inlet with de-wedged TB
and a bigger front mount intercooler

I'm looking for a chip to run this engine in could you tell me what chip would be best suited?

Cheers Dave

Hi Dave - just in case you don't see my reply on Club Polo:

I'd recommend Map #G40005 for that spec, but you'd have to use your 250cc/min injectors.

You won't need the 310cc/min units until you're pushing 200bhp - and you'll need to run smaller than a 65mm pulley on the G40-lader or ditch it for something else to achieve that with 1341cc.

Cheers,

Andy

Hi Craig,

Assuming you're 1272cc and running standard injectors then I'd recommend either Map G40002 or Map G40001.

Gotta just add that Yoof and Andy are very clued up about these maps which they are selling, i have been a map mule for most of the G lader maps and Andy is always ensuring that each map is correct for the spec.

All the G lader maps are tested and proven so if anyone is worried out the quality of the maps then don't be.

Extremely happy with the level of knowledge with both guys!

Hi Dom,

Thanks for the PM, what's 'BRM' Boost Return Mod?

Depending on your future plans- if you're aiming for more power it may be advantegeous to fit the 250cc injectors and gt inlet at the same time.

We can do maps to suit your stock injectors or 250cc/min ones.

Cheers

If you're 8:1 CR rather than the 9:1 of the Accralite pistons you may benefit from a little more ignition advance than the chip offers, but for a generic chip to get you up and running it should work well.

im not sure about the CR to be honest

they are carl schmit 1308cc pistons and im using the metal head gasket

its running at the moment with the custom map it had from pitstop a few years ago, but that was set up for the eaton and smaller pulley, now i have the glader with 65mm pulley so im sure air/fuel will be way off. runs ok but sounds a little rough so i would rather something more suitable
