Hello all,

Id like to invite CLUBG40 to have a stand at V-A-G.co.uk - The Volksdevil Annual Gathering or VAG 2009 for short.

If someone would like to organise a stand then you can use the quick and easy form on the site at
V-A-G.co.uk/stands.htm Forum/club stands are free, there is only the £5 per person entrance fee on the day.

Forums/Stands are showing early interest so please do show yours too!

Daily driven cars and show cars park together with no division to create the actual show, this creates a superb atmosphere in an already fantastic location.
The grounds/gardens with childrens woodland play area are open on the day.

If a stand isn't of interest, then we hope to see you there anyway at this relaxed and stress free gathering of enthusiasts.

Thanks,Neil @ Volksdevil.com  Smiley

It would be a great pleasure to have you guys attend, i/we really hope you can...even if you aren't getting a stand together.

Im sure previous attendee's can vouch for the great laid back atmosphere and fantastic location.

Hi Pete, aye...i can appreciate its early doors. Smiley

Its just that since the day our last event ended, we have been working at this years event. We let club/forum stands take priority to create the actual show, no matter how large/small...and no matter what state of repair the cars are in.

If you guys do get some interest in a stand, please do feel free to use the form on the site...you can always use it again to update us on possible numbers attending.

I wouldn't mind sorting a stand out, it's only an hour up the road from me too.

Yeah to be fair I'd probably be up for that, not far away and early on in the season so not mental with stuff by then. Beer and a curry at chez Yoof's or Hayes the night before then?

Hi lads, glad to hear there is some interest. Smiley

Last year (only our second event) we saw just over 300 cars, and the feedback was fantastic.
I personally would like to see a good showing from you guys Grin ...I love the G40's, especially the original mk3 variation. (Favourite shape polo)

Take care and hope to catch up with you at the show.

right I've sent the application for a stand for this.  Either myself, Dan or Pete will put a post up on here a bit nearer the time to sort out the stand.

The time is nearing ever closer...  Grin

If you know of any possible traders, even ebay shop owners who would like to take advantage of the free trading, please do let them know about the site where they can apply quickly and easily.

Not long to go until the show everyone!

I hope you are all looking forward to it, and i hope the weather is on our side on the 31st May!

We have been contacted by the advertising department at Discovery turbo, who host such programes as, American chopper, chop shop, beetle crisis etc etc...All superb stuff. They are working in conjunction with us at Volksdevil to possibly offer a competition via their website to give away two free entrance passes to our show this year. And they may be there at the show...

Things have only just got going, but if you keep an eye on their website at www.DiscoveryChannel.co.uk/subject/turbo then you may well win yourself two free entries to the Volksdevil Annual Gathering 2009.

Guys, is there a thread regarding your stand at the show?

You are listed on the website as attending and i hope you still are, but if there is a change, if you could let us know it would be appreciated.

Cheers, Neil.
